Bailey Bauman, MS, BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst #1-22-62192
CPAM License No. CPAM/PL/COUNS/057
Bailey Bauman has been working with individuals with disabilities since 2005, and specifically in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis since 2011. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts (2011), she attained her teaching license for individuals with moderate and severe disabilities of all ages. Bailey worked in classrooms as a lead teacher before joining the staff at the May Institute where she was introduced to ABA. Her initial position there was as a direct care staff member at a day program for adults. She was quickly promoted to a supervisory role and transitioned to running a group home for adult men with severe interfering behaviours. Bailey also worked outside the May Institute for a private ABA company providing in-home and in-community services.
Bailey went on to pursue her Master’s Degree in ABA at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida, with the intention of becoming a BCBA. During graduate school, Bailey worked at an early intervention clinic and ran a small group for children who were transitioning to a school setting, in addition to running a social skills group for teenagers on the autism spectrum. After graduating in 2022, she attained board certification as a Behaviour Analyst. Once certified, Bailey worked as a BCBA at an ABA company in Massachusetts where she continued to develop her clinical skills and further her experience in a supervisory role.
Bailey has been blessed to work with individuals of all ages (ranging from 2-90 years old) with a wide variety of abilities and disabilities. Her varied experience coupled with her passion for the field has encouraged her to grow professionally throughout her career. Bailey loves to travel and was able to volunteer in St. Lucia in 2013 and in the Cook Islands in 2023. While in the Cook Islands, she was greatly inspired to pursue her dream of disseminating knowledge of ABA to other countries around the world. This led to her moving to the Cayman Islands and joining the Cayman ABA team.
