Welcome to Cayman ABA!

The process to getting started beings with a free consultation. The purpose of a free consultation is so that we can learn more about your needs and determine how we can help. Below, we’ve outlined our new client process, so that you can complete each step and know what to expect along the way. We’re looking forward to working with you!

Step 1: Register for a Free Consultation

This registration form is completely confidential, and enables us to proceed with the free consultation. Please complete the form only ONCE*, by clicking on the applicable button below:

*If you are an existing or past client, please do not complete a new registration form; simply email info@caymanaba.com.

Step 2: schedule your online Free Consultation session

This initial 45-minute meeting will take place online, and will be our chance to learn about your needs and share with you more information about how we can help.

Step 3: Complete our Intake Packet

After our meeting, if it’s determined that Cayman ABA is the right fit for your needs, we will send an electronic intake packet (sent via Docusign) for you to review and complete. You can sign the forms electronically, and as soon as you do, we will file your information in our secure electronic client file, so we can begin services.

Please also ensure you send an email to info@caymanaba.com with the following documents, which will be important as we get started with services:

  • Relevant assessments or reports from other providers

  • Immunisation record

  • Recent medical report / physical / doctor’s referral.

  • Your insurance card (if paying with insurance).

Step 4: Assessment

The assessment process typically takes one month, so that we can get a valid impression of your child’s skills. Assessment takes place accorss a variety of settings, so we can evaluate skills in a variety of functional contexts.

We will schedule the first assessment session as soon as all intake documentation is signed and received.

Step 5: Attend a Assessment Report Feedback Meeting

Following the assessment process, your Clinician will prepare an initial report. This typically takes between 2-3 weeks, following the last assessment session.

Your Clinical will invite you, and any other providers on your child’s team, to attend a report feedback session, where we will go over our observations and recommendations for services.

Step 6: Begin Treatment

Once we have reviewed our assessment findings and proposed initial plan of care, and parents/caregivers are on board with the initial treatment plan, ABA therapy sessions can begin!

At this stage, you will be introduced to your child’s treatment team, which will include Behavior Technicians, who are overseen by your BCBA.

We will work with your family and other providers on your child’s team to determine the best timings for ongoing sessions, and schedule sessions according to the clinical recommendation that comes out of the assessment process.

Step 7: Monitor Progress

As an ongoing aspect of our clinical treatment program, your child’s progress is monitored frequently, and updates to the treatment plan are made. Parents/caregivers are encouraged to log in to Skills as often as possible, to stay up-to-date with their child’s progress and team communications.
