Kimeisha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (2012) from the University of the West Indies (Mona Campus) in Jamaica, and a Master’s of Science Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (2015) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois.  

She attained Board Certification as  a Behavior Analyst in 2016 after working since 2012 in the field of ABA in Jamaica and the United States, with children, adolescents, and adults with Autism and related disorders. During this time, she worked in clinics as well as schools providing ABA intervention as well as caregiver training; incorporating principles of behavioral skills training, precision teaching, and  instructional design. After earning her BCBA credential, Kimiesha continued to serve in the ABA community in Jamaica as a clinic-based BCBA supervisor, as well as collaborating with the Digicel Foundation (through Therapy Plus LTD) to carry out their islandwide project focused on training special education teachers on the principles of ABA and supporting them with materials and resources. In 2016, Kimeisha partnered with the Jamaica Theological Seminary as a lecturer and practicum supervisor in their bachelors-level ABA program. In addition, Kimeisha served as a  trainer on the Government-funded island-wide Positive Behavior Supports training project for schools across Jamaica.

Kimeisha moved to the Cayman Islands in 2018 and worked as a BCBA Supervisor in the Hope Academy Spinnaker ABA program for 4 years. Her strong commitment to the field of ABA and service provision is reflected in her hard work and dedication. Kimeisha sees herself as a steward in the field and continues to strive for growth and excellence in service for individuals with Autism and related disorders, as well as their caregivers and the wider community.
